2020 Esri Federal GIS Conference

Published: March 9, 2020

It’s been a busy few weeks for us here at geocgi, but we didn’t want to forget to share our experience at this year’s Esri Fed GIS Conference! We enjoyed getting to see friends old and new, learning about emergent technologies, and seeing what others are working on. We also had the opportunity to present a few sessions, including “Python: Beyond the Basics” and discussing how we’ve used ArcGIS to assist first responders while at the Systems Integration Zone.

One of the highlights was when Mr. Jack Dangermond himself stopped by the Small Business Zone and we got to chat with him about our latest projects and how we’ve leveraged ArcGIS to assist our clients. It was great to show off our hard work and participate in conversation with other small businesses! We also had a blast at the networking reception hosted at the National History Museum – this museum never disappoints, but it was fun to explore at night with other like-minded geography enthusiasts.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth or attended one of our sessions! We are grateful for another successful Fed GIS Conference and can’t wait for next year.
