New Contract Award – NATO NCIA Contract to Deliver Core GIS Synchronization Design

Published: September 24, 2025

Geospatial Consulting Group International (geocgi) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) to design a full site-to-site replication solution for the NATO Core GIS system. This initiative will strengthen NATO’s ability to provide seamless, resilient, and continuously available geospatial services to its operational stakeholders.

As part of this effort, geocgi will collaborate with NCIA’s Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Centre (JISRC) to define synchronization needs, evaluate available technical options, and deliver a comprehensive architecture and implementation specification. The solution will be designed to ensure uninterrupted access to Core GIS data and services, even in the event of a site failure, allowing NATO users to consume, manipulate, and publish geospatial data without disruption.

“Our team is proud to support NATO in this mission-critical effort,” said Andy Hanes, Vice President and International Programs Manager. “This contract highlights geocgi’s expertise in enterprise geospatial architecture and our ability to deliver innovative, highly automated solutions that meet the complex demands of multinational operations.”

This award further demonstrates geocgi’s commitment to advancing geospatial capabilities for defense and federal clients worldwide.
