OSIsoft and Esri Integration

Published: June 4, 2020
geocgi is continually searching for new ways create informative and attractive geospatial products for our customers. We recently configured the OSIsoft PI system with Esri’s new software product, ArcGIS Indoors. Our configuration of OSIsoft PI included streaming live data from building water pumps. Next, the data stream was fed through ArcGIS GeoEvent Server into an ArcGIS Indoors application. This implementation is a unified decision-making platform for facility managers to view and oversee the operations of the building through dynamic real-time asset visualization within the ArcGIS Indoors Common Operational Picture (COP). This solution was also expanded with custom dashboards for tracking flow rates, voltages, and pump status, while the Indoors application was configured with popups for asset interaction, and Indoor Positioning System (IPS) for navigation and wayfinding. Tell us what you think at info@geocgi.com. If your organization has a PI System or you are interested in improving asset management, we would love to discuss helping you integrate it with the ArcGIS platform!
