geocgi is looking for a GIS Developer to support the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). This is a hybrid position with the expectation to be onsite as needed with the customer in the Washington, DC metro area and WMATA headquarters in Alexandria, VA. The GIS Developer will automate GIS workflows, create applications using mobile SDKs, and ensure seamless data synchronization across multiple environments. The role will also involve performing geospatial data calculations, developing, and troubleshooting applications using JavaScript APIs, Mobile SDKs, Google Map Developer API, and Visual Studio, while managing the installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of GIS systems and infrastructure.
